Before you start

Collect these five things before you open anything.

What to do

  1. Your DEFRA access. You must be able to sign in to the GOV.UK waste service for the correct organisation.
  2. Microsoft Excel on the computer you are using.
  3. The delivery paperwork for the load of waste.
  4. The weighbridge information — the weights for the load.
  5. The approved waste codes your site uses for this waste.

If something is missing

Do not guess and do not make anything up.

Ask the site's responsible person. Wait until you have the correct information, then come back here.
